Woolfords & Cobbinshaw Artist’s Book
A4 – 29.7 x 21cm fine and card-based stock (Laser cut 700gsm card, 200gsm heat sensitive paper, 80gsm fine opaic hand-made paper, stitched and stretched cloth and 400gsm matt digital prints). The reader’s handprints remain on the book cover after reading because heat sensitive paper is applied here. The stitched designs, illustrations and laser cutting were designed in vector format in Adobe Illustrator. Bound by stitched leather strings punched through the pages. I took the photos in and around Cobbinshaw and Woolfords.
(Software: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.)
Brown Williams Journal
Hand-crafted scallop shell book enclosed in a sterling silver frame. Various stitched and printed stocks, with shaped pages. Hot foil embossing. Shaped colour slides inserted into some pages. Typography for every page was designed to complement the non-uniform shapes and materials used. I mostly used a traditional film SLR camera to produce the slides, illustrations and background images for pages. Traditional machine embossing methods were used for the title on the outer covers.
(Software: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.)
Poster Design
Single-sided A3 Glossy finish. I designed the pattern with Autodesk Maya, and the logo in Illustrator.
